Lough Boora Discovery Park
Lough Boora Discovery Park, County Offaly is an exciting outdoor experience for anyone who loves art and nature as much as they love walking, hiking and biking in the great outdoors. It offers five routes for all ages, abilities and interests of walking and cycling trails of different lengths including the Sculpture Park trail and the fairy trail for children.
The Sculpture Park is home to 24 innovative works of art dramatically set amongst the landscape. Many have been made from industrial materials of the bog like rail line and timber and are designed to dramatically change-and change the look of what surrounds them-depending on the weather, the season and, of course, over time.

The family friendly environment features many free activities including picnic and play areas that are accessible to both buggies and wheelchairs. You can take guided tours on biodiversity, ancient history, and the park’s art and sculpture. Anglers of all abilities and mobility can enjoy fishing at Loch an Dochas. Bike hire is available on site to and the award-winning visitor centre features a café serving food and refreshments that can be taken on the decking.
